Update
The Walks with Hawks team are presently committed to The Coastal Hawks Project which has been featured on BBC Wales. A documentary was broadcast which has also been screened in local cinemas. While this important work continues we recommend that you contact another similar organisation, Walks with Hawks in association with the Art of Falconry.
'Walks with Hawks’ is a small business
that was launched early in 2006.
We offer opportunities to enjoy a day’s walk in the spectacular Welsh mountains and a chance to get up close to, and even handle some of the most beautiful birds in the country. There are a selection of walks to choose from, each lasting for a few hours in the morning, followed by lunch at a restaurant, or a buffet on the mountain (weather permitting!)
A shorter walk in the afternoon is included in the price. There are also stops along the way where you can watch the birds fly, and have an opportunity to handle the birds yourself, and take a picture away as a memory of the day.
There are also informative talks on habitat, breeding, and past and present uses for birds of prey, plus the history of the area you walk in.
We hope this is something you may be interested in, and would appreciate
it if you could take a few moments to fill in the questionnaire
here, or for more details please telephone us on 07763 359935
